I will be sharing my experience about Baja SAEINDIA 2014 on this blog.
 It all started a year before, i.e. in 2013. We designed and manufactured an off-road car for the competition known as baja.

For precise manufacturing we used metallic fixtures. We utilised every single day and night for about three months continuously to get our dream into reality.

then we were ready to the event of baja 2014 and done remaining all finishing operations on the car.

every year event held at NATRiP, Pithampur,Indore.Event was of 4 days.
Day 0-
On day 0, Car has to placed in the pits provided by event organizers. And also the technical inspection starts simultaneously.we are the first team which clear its technical inspection on day 0.Also we cleared figure of 8, brake test and engine ok test on day 0.

And we attempted an acceleration event on day 0 only. We were the first team to attempt the first dynamic event.

Day1- On day 1,there was a static evaluation event, in which different judges from industrial background were examine the car and ask different questions on design and manufacturing..

then we attempted the different dynamic events like hill climb, suspension and traction on day1.

Day 2- On day 2, we attempted a maneuverability event.And examine the entire lap for racing strategy.
Day 3- On day 3, we were on the pole position because we had fasted car i.e. had a fasted acceleration. Then endurance race started.We were the lead the race continuously for 3 hours. But there were some suspension problem occurred which  was the only reason that we have to satisfied with 4th position in endurance race.

Then the results were announced. We the following awards
1. Second overall champion
2. Acceleration- 1st
3. Maneuverability- 1st
4.Suspension and traction- 2nd
5.Hill climb- 2nd
6. Build quality- 2nd
7.Raftar award- 2nd
8. CAE awad - 1st
